You were not a fool on April 1st if you joined the 119 people at the Fatacil for the 7th annual fund raising dinner/dance for Lagoa Bombeiros. The Raffle prizes were really good and of course the three auctions helped to increase the total amount for the fund by €2,825.
Howard Scott Parkin provided the music he was a great success, we would certainly like to have him return next year on March 3rd for our 8th Annual dinner/dance.

The Lagoa Bombeiros commisioned a large plate hand painted with the Bombeiros Emblem and 7th annual dinner/dance, this lovely plate was auctioned.
A generous donation was made by HOME Lagoa and other donations very much appreciated came from Mr. David Eastwood, Hannah and Heidi.
For those of you who were not aware that we were having a Fund raising even The Algarve Resident and the News both advertised this event for us on a number of occassions for which we thank them.
This year many Bombeiros attended they all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and look forward to joining us again next year.
My personal thanks to Halcyon, Chris, Do, Julia, Maureen and Maria for all their help in selling tickets & obtaining the prizes and to Norma for the artistic drawings.
