Critical Equipment for Silves Bombeiros!
Commandant Antonio Nunes welcomed Ludwig Schaefer, chief of the fire brigade in Malgerdorf, Germany, who has become a loyal friend of the Silves Bombeiros. Having made previous deliveries of equipment this time Ludwig had organised the delivery of fireproof wellington boots, protective clothing and special water supply equipment.
Regular readers might remember our urgent need for a dinghy. Well, Wolfgang Felzen, a wholesale importer of equipment from China, came to our assistance. Not only did he supply the dinghy, but also a powerful 40hp motor, both new and very generously at cost price. Wolfgang is now assisting us with the acquisition of a mobile diesel generator.
From BG Equipamento Náutico, Lda we received the trailer with 25% discount which arrived Monday, 7th of November.
